DOQ-IT Overview
Doctors' Office Quality Information Technology (DOQ-IT) promotes the adoption of electronic health record (EHR) systems and information technology in small-to-medium sized primary care physician offices with a vision of enhancing access to patient information, decision support, and reference data, and improving patient-clinician communications.
Who Can Participate
Clinics providing primary care to adult Medicare patients in Utah or Nevada.
Clinics should be ready to adopt EHR in the near future or be interested in using their existing EHR system to improve the quality of patient care. HealthInsight offers free consulting, tools, and resources to your clinics to increase the likelihood of a successful and complete EHR implementation.
Clinics that use their EHR systems to improve the quality of care they provide will be best able to capitalize on developing pay-for-performance projects that may generate extra income.
