Doctors Office Quality-Information Technology (DOQ-IT)

HealthInsight supports several national and local health information initiatives.
The 2007 Physician Quality Reporting initiative (PQRI)
PQRI replaces the Physician Voluntary Reporting Program (PVRP). This new initiative includes a payment incentive from Medicare. Policies are under development. For more information click here.
Medicare Care Management Program (MCMP)
Up to 150 Utah primary care practices currently enrolled in DOQ-IT will be invited to apply for enrollment in the MCMP, a demonstration program providing additional reimbursement for improving clinical care (pay for performance). The Utah Health Information Network (UHIN)
UHIN is a coalition of healthcare providers, payers, and other interested parties with a goal to standardize health data and initiate electronic commerce. UHIN is working to adapt these principles to clinical data. For more information, visit: http://www.uhin.com/clinical_exchange/index.htm.
