Doctors Office Quality-Information Technology (DOQ-IT)
The goal of the DOQ-IT Project is to foster clinical improvement for specific chronic conditions and preventive services. For more information about the measures click here.

HealthInsight supports several national and local health information initiatives.

The 2007 Physician Quality Reporting initiative (PQRI)
PQRI replaces the Physician Voluntary Reporting Program (PVRP). This new initiative includes a payment incentive from Medicare. Policies are under development. For more information click here.

Medicare Care Management Program (MCMP)
Up to 150 Utah primary care practices currently enrolled in DOQ-IT will be invited to apply for enrollment in the MCMP, a demonstration program providing additional reimbursement for improving clinical care (pay for performance). For a quick view of MCMP clinical measures click here.  Measures target care for patients with diabetes and coronary artery disease and certain preventive services.  For a press release describing MCMP click here or for current information on MCMP click here.

The Utah Health Information Network (UHIN)
UHIN is a coalition of healthcare providers, payers, and other interested parties with a goal to standardize health data and initiate electronic commerce.  UHIN is working to adapt these principles to clinical data. For more information, visit: http://www.uhin.com/clinical_exchange/index.htm.
