Let’s Celebrate and Accelerate!!

HealthInsight will be celebrating the great success Nevada and Utah hospitals have experienced by inviting all hospitals to come join us for a storyboard luncheon scheduled in late July.  Participating hospitals will present their campaign efforts with storyboards, sharing their success with the campaign interventions as well as areas where barriers are still present.   More details to come!

So what’s next?
The effort to improve care will always continue and over the next several months HealthInsight and the Utah and Nevada hospitals will celebrate and accelerate!  While we will take time out to celebrate the success of the campaign and its’ local impact there is still much work ahead in the coming months.  HealthInsight, IHI, and all of its partners, and colleagues will continue to support participants in the months to come.  The new aim for the campaign is to get every participating hospital to adopt all six interventions while sustaining the success of the campaign.  This will require hospitals to hardwire their success into their organizational systems while disseminating all of the interventions (where applicable) to every unit.  In addition to continued calls, meetings, and tools to support work on the existing Campaign interventions, IHI and HealthInsight will focus on helping hospitals sustain their existing gains and spread their good work throughout their facilities and systems, building a firm foundation on which IHI will launch the next phase of the Campaign in December of 2006.
