Utah and Nevada Nursing Homes Commit to Transformational Change

The HealthInsight Quality Partners welcomes 35 nursing homes in Utah and 29 nursing homes in Nevada who have dedicated their resources to transform nursing home care.

This group will adopt the Wellspring Model as their main strategy to improve quality. The primary goals will be to concentrate on the quality of care as well as the quality of work life at their facilities. In order to achieve these goals, this group of facilities will focus on staff turnover and empowerment and quality measures such as high-risk pressure ulcers, physical restraints, and the management of depression and chronic pain.
