Nursing Home Quality Initiative

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has published extensive data on quality of care in nursing homes. The data report eleven quality measures for every Medicare and/or Medicaid-certified facility in the United States. The quality measures provide information that consumers want and need when making decisions about nursing home care. Additionally, the measures give nursing homes meaningful data to assist them in improving their quality of care.
